“We stumbled across this pub on the way to the Spar grocery store. Upon entering, it was packed with spectators watching a hurling match. We were the only non-Irish in the pub. “Have dabbled in Clean Cut Meals a couple of times over the last number of years depending on my workload / available time to cook. Ordered last week for probably the first time in over a year and was blown away by the improvements in the quality of meals, menu and portions/protein content per meal. Every meal ordered was delicious and had a genuine serving in excess of 30g protein per meal, compared to competitors meals stocked in supermarkets today which always seem to have inaccurate / misleading macros in reality and never actually feel 'healthy'. Would highly recommend Clean Cut Meals, well done guys.”

Friday evening and Sunday lunch. The food was gorgeous! Beautifully presented and very tasty. Btw the cream of vegetable soup was yummy! Roast beef was beautiful.... Tender! Juicy! Tasty! I just had to try desert to make sure this chef was equally as good at deserts!! And yes lovely tangy panacotta! Again beautifully presented! The owners are hands on, charming and very welcoming! We can't wait to come back. And just to top it off..... The views are spectacular!”

“Myself and my son are staying at Radisson hotel and decided to eat something different for the last evening in Athlone. We saw this takeaway from across the street and thought we will try it out. I ordered first chicken tikka kebab, but the polite man suggested I go for fresh chicken kebab and it was amazing. The price is very reasonable and portions very generous. Keep up the good work.”

“Was recommended by a friend to visit here and was not disappointed. The chicken tenders cannot be improved on, so good. Dressed fries v tasty. Burgers are one of the best in Ireland. Priced well. Really nice restaurant, clean bathrooms. Service was the best we've experienced that we can remember in a long time. Waitor knew the menu, arrived with everything promptly, checked everything was good and was really polite. I was still thinking about the food the next day. Can't wait to visit again!”

“The Brandon View was such a lovely experience, with a gorgeous setting to match. Helen is truly amazing at what she does. You are immediately greeted with a friendly, warm welcome by Helen and her gorgeous dogs. You feel right at ease. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The electric blankets were also a nice touch as someone who loves to climb into a toasty bed. It was lovely to have biscuits and tea, and chilled water just outside your room. Breakfast was a delicious feast for sure. Brandon View is a lovely little oasis, surrounded by green meadows and farmland.”
