SMJ Falconry
● Open“What an absolutely amazing day we have both had today! We did the VIP experience day. Rhiannon was just excellent and really knew her stuff. Our favourite quote if the day was 'the brains arent bad, the eyeballs are worse, they stain' which made us laugh! We were able to handle 14 birds during our visit and fly we think 10 of those - one on a short hawk walk which was just a great experience. We were also introduced to a lot of the other birds in their aviaries perches. We genuinely couldn't choose a favourite but Willow was amazing, Tonto was adorable and friendly, Ivan was so majestic, Julianne such a great character, Peter was lovely, Twighlight a good showgirl and of course Arlo was such a show stopper! The surroundings are stunning. We cannot recommend SMJ enough. 5 stars not enough!”

The Wonkey Donkey
● OpenCobcroft Lane, Cridling Stubbs, Knottingley WF11 0AZ, United Kingdom“It’s so nice to be able to go to a sanctuary which is clean and has everything you need. The tour at 11:15 was heart wrenching but has totally opened my mind up. The lady who does the tour is probably one of the most inspirational mothers I’ve come across. We will definitely be coming back in the future. Lots of love to Minnie!”

Roundhay Park
● Open“Lovely park! The council and local groups do a great job of maintaining the park. Parking can be an issue when busy, but there are a plethora of transport options other than by car. Just be thoughtful to local residents and park considerately. Along with my visit to the park, I attended the Monet Gardens which were a pleasant surprise. You don't often find such a great addition to a council park. LCC have done a wonderful job with the reconstruction of their Chelsea Flower Show contributions. I think the park offers everyone a great day out. You will never be bored when visiting here, there is an abundance of history located all over the park and events are regularly held across the year.”

Short Bark & Sides

Now we have a sproodle, and he has been today to Shirt Bark & Sides, and again Collette has done a fantastic job. I really recommend them. They know how to handle dogs.....I will never go anywhere else”

Askham Bryan Wildlife & Conservation Park
● Open“Great place for a family day out and the ticket price is so reasonable. My nephew (7) loved it! Plenty of animals to see and a great play park. As with any thing animal related some animals were asleep or hiding which was a bit disappointing although no one can be blamed for that. Animals need private space too. We went as my nephew wanted to see animals but not a farm. This place had a great mixture of farm animals and the more exotic. Had a great time hunting beetle statutes and looking at everything. For the price this place is great and the staff were lovely. Only thing that let's it down slightly is the grubby looking fish tanks. They are clean but the plastic is damaged giving a not so great first impression, although we did spot a sign saying that they are working on this so once it's done this place will truly be perfect. Definitely recommend at visit.”

So what animals, snakes, spiders insects, fish, birds I loved seeing the Ray as well as the amazon fish. So many colours. Did I mention reptiles, no well they even have a crocodile lizards and a day gecko. If you want a souvenir they have a huge shop full and a large cafe the cakes and coffee were yummy. Toilets are in the shop and cafe. Again full accessibility. We had a lovely day.”
