“Lovely food. Me and 3 other diners had the Oven Baked Crepe starter which is delicious. Do try the home made cheesecakes. You wont be disappointed. A couple of bars nearby to round your evening off afterwards.”

“A proper old school Italian restaurant/cafe. Quality, fresh pizzas. Can tell it’s the finest ingredients as it’s not too heavy. Friendly staff, good with the children like any quality Italian. Prices are good and atmosphere is perfect for a lively family meal. Will be back!”

“I've been getting takeaways from papas for years now on and off. As the chef has changed over the years so has the food a little here and there. My most recent order was realy nice. It has changed for the better and the pizza and chips I ordered I finished. My teen boys love the food here and go with there mates. I get them papas as a treat or when to tired etc to cook as they love it plus the staff are realy friendly.”

“York gem. Pleasantly surprised, the food and tea were both good. Spacious inside and easy to get a table (though we went late in the afternoon). Tables and chairs are clean, and frequently cleaned. Service is good, no waiting around and very prompt and attentive. Worth a visit and recommend.”

“We have been to Sakku 3 times now and we absolutely love it, it is clean, stunning and the food is always prepared fresh and brought to you within 10 minutes (sometimes even quicker) this is honestly such a good recommendation to anyone looking to try the cuisine and when they say it’s unlimited. They mean it! You will never leave feeling hungry or like you have missed out, also their staff are lovely and make you feel very welcome, keep up the good work!”

Everything tasted delicious, the presentation was on point and the seasoning could not have been better. Service here is also quick and efficient despite a very busy restaurant and many phone orders. “Absolute gem of a place. Super friendly staff serving delicious food. We tried all the bao bun fillings and loved them all. My favourite was pork. Loaded fries with beef brisket on top were really tasty. And they’ve partnered with a brilliant brewery in North Taproom so makes for a great combo. Have in and outdoor seating”

Upon entering the restaurant, the restaurant's interior immediately transports you to Japan! All the dishes were delicious, served hot and fresh! We can’t recommend enough of their signature Shrimp Vegetable Tempura Soba (Mixed vegetables and shrimp with tempura batter and noodles). It is very popular among the locals, so call to make a reservation to avoid disappointment. We can’t wait to go back again.”

The food, WOW. A menu which provides a wide range of options, catering for all allergies. The presentation, taste, and spice, it was all sublime. I tried the Murgh Harabara which was cooked to perfection. It is clear to see why this restaurant has won so many awards. The price is also fair for the quality of food you get.”
