“I’m a new driver and was very panicked as it was the first time my battery died and didn’t know how to jump start my car. The guy came down the next morning and fixed it then led the way to a garage he trusted so my battery could be looked at, in case it needed replacing, which it didn’t thankfully! He then refused to take my money for helping me and asked that I donate it to the charity I lived near. Amazing service, can’t recommend enough!”

“We loved this place. We visited York for a couple of days and went there twice. Unfortunately I'm missing the first photo of my Galette and only have a photo of the crepe. Both tasted great. The Galette was my savory option so the next day I thought I'd go for the sweet one. Lovely friendly staff. I wish they had this place in London. Definitely recommend.”

All seats are equal and premium recliners. Experienced a lot of great cinema setups over the years but this one is the best by far.”

“Its been quite a number of years since visiting this cinema, and what a pleasant surprise ! Not only is their "Insider" membership (which is free) a great incentive - cheaper tickets on a Sunday evening and all day Mondays and Tuesdays - (plus "cash back on purchases) but the seats are absolutely amazing. Massive comfortable leather reclining seats with foot rests and loads of leg room. Highly recommended !”

“I comfortably sat at a clean table in this bar, where there are drinks menus that are openable like books and a gloriously designed wall at the side! The circular lights overhead provide relaxing vibes, as do the paintings on the wall. I was treated very friendly by the staff at the heavily lit bar area and served a flavoured vodka, which was a nice drink. The highlight of my visit was when me and my friend played darts, enjoying the digital scoreboard especially with the options to play different games like demolition or snakes and ladders!”

“My go-to place for proper bread when I'm tired of british toasts. They are open until 11pm most days, but going in the morning means you can also get some fresh herbs and vegetables. Great selection of central european products.”
