“We were having a family meal and have a favourite curry house and decided to have a 'change'. Looking around, there was Sultan on 'Just Eat' delivering to our postcode - 10 miles from our house. We called them to double check that they could deliver and they were going to be too busy unless we arranged the delivery after 9pm. Really appreciated them saying this because we then decided to order and collect ourselves. This was a good decision. We placed a large order and asked when they would like us to collect. With each curry, they give you chips, chapatti or nan. At the appropriate time, we collected and was shocked at the price - it was very cheap and we wondered what the catch was. Everything was on show, with the older gentleman doing the cooking in front of you, adding in spices from a selection you could see. Really interesting. In addition, they knocked off a couple of quid and gave us a bottle of drink of our choice. When we got back and started to unwrap, a lot of things were wrapped in foil, which we thought was unusual. Having read some of the negative reviews, we noted that the temperature of the food was often mentioned. Our journey back took about 20-25mins and our food was still hot. Not only did it keep the food hot, as well, the foil is recyclable. The food itself we would rate as a more traditional type of cooking that you might get in Bradford, rather than the more Westernised curry houses. Everything was tasty, spicy and we all enjoyed it. The challenge with any restaurant who delivers is keeping things warm and I think people who leave negative reviews need to consider this. Also, it is one of those take aways that are doing curry first and everything else to please the masses. A pizza in a cardboard box will always go cold quicker. We enjoyed the whole experience and would highly recommend.”

“We got a menu posted through the door last week saying under new management never used before so carnt comment on what the food was like. Well we tried it, we ordered a donner kebab and I had a vegetarian special pizza and chips and I can honestly say the meal was fantastic, everything looked so fresh and tasted lovely and something we don't usually get is food that's still warm on delivery. But the food was still hot. will definitely be using again 10 out of 10”

“Ive order from ibbys for over 10 years, from been next to springfield garage then down racca. The food is absolutely perfect every time, one of the best in knottingley, the bloke on the phone down to the delivery drivers are brilliant, had 1 mistake in ten years and that was just a missed tub of chilli sauce, he was so apologetic on the phone and asked if i wanted it sending straight out, i told him just to just knock it off price next time i order instead of coming alway back to mine, he said yes thats brilliant. Cant say fairer than that.”

“Easily the best takeaway in Knottingley, once we started going here we stopped ordering from anywhere else. BBQ pizza is unmatched (never covered in grease like most takeaway pizzas) and the chicken meal deal is also brilliant. Never had a bad experience, the drivers are friendly as well.”
