He was patient, and went through details about each part of the set up until we created the perfect complete. The staff have always taken care of us, and they take care with every aspect of their service, even being open to conversation about all kinds of matters. The atmosphere is peaceful, nourishing the soul, with crystals and chimes. At present, there is a bookshop upstairs in the cafe with mind, body, spirit, and self-help books among a few classics. “We really had the most amazing ring making workshop with Sally. It was an incredibly special day. Sally is brilliant - in the lead up to the workshop she pulled out all the stops to help us design the engagement rings we wanted, finding an array of gems from ethical dealers to choose from and helping us to decide which combinations would work well together. The workshop itself was such a happy day, we couldn't stop smiling all day and for a long time afterwards! Sally is such a lovely person, and a wonderful teacher. She walked us clearly through every step and answered all of the questions we had. We really feel like we made the rings ourselves - with support and guidance from Sally of course - and we can't believe how beautiful they have turned out. We didn't want to take them off and we are so excited to see the end products when Sally has set the stones and had the hallmarks added. I would unreservedly recommend the ring making workshop, it was the most special and joyful day and the rings we created have so much meaning because we designed and made them ourselves. I genuinely didn't want the day to end. We really can't thank you enough, Sally!”

“Fused Glass Workshop - 25.06.22 I attended this workshop today and had an amazing time. Trudy and Gemma were very welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable about their craft. I've learnt lots and have a whole new appreciation and understanding of how much work goes into the beautiful works of art they create. I've never worked with glass before so was a little apprehensive, but I didn't need to be as Trudy explained everything clearly and showed me what to do. I was then given free rein to get creative and had so much fun making a wall hanger and 2 tealight holders! The studio is a lovely, light airy and relaxing place to work in and I loved using all the different materials available to create my designs! Everything is provided to help you with your project, such as tools, safety equipment, beautiful murrini glass flowers, bees, ladybirds, etc (all made by Trudy and Gemma), as well as help/guidance if you need it. The workshop is fantastic value for money and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone and everyone and will definitely be returning to do another one! Thank you both for such a brilliant day, I loved every minute!!”
