“I brought my puppy Monty here last week after being bitten on the ear. I didn't make an appointment just turned up as it was an emergency situation. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the start, we were booked in and seen by a lovely vet called Kat immediately. I was made to feel at ease and comforted as it had been a very stressful situation. The vet explained the treatment that Monty would need very professionally and in detail any questions answered . He had surgery that evening and I was called with an update as soon as the procedure had finished. The care and compassion from all the staff was second to none.”

“My dog decided to have an adventure. I walked the streets to find him. Fortunately he is chipped and the surgery contacted me after two hours of searching he had been handed in to Holly House they were brilliant and they looked after him well. Big shout for the night staff I appreciate you all”

“Absolutely amazing, when my cat recently had a blood clot and died they were very caring and understanding taking control of the situation as i was very upset, then a couple of days later we received a card of condolence with some forget me not seeds inside, can't rate highly enough the service and caring they give towards pets. 10/10. They made the separation period easier with daily updates, dealt with the insurance policy and most of all cured our cat. It is early days as he is only one month post treatment, however on the clinical side he already showed huge improvement. If you love your cat, this is the place to go.”

Robyn and Nigel are great and make us feel reassured that Humphrey is getting the best treatment, they always greet our dog as if it was there own. “An absolutely gem of a B&B. Everything was of the highest standard. Breakfast had such a wide choice and so fresh and good (and plenty of it too). The property is set in a beautiful quiet location and was spotlessly clean. Our room was huge with a sofa, TV, drinks and even fresh milk. Host was so helpful and kind. Absolutely loved our stay there - thank you”

“All the staff and the vet were lovely, really helpful and took great care of my dog. Everything was clear, and all aspects of the care and procedure were discussed and agreed upon in advance. If your dog is a bit giddy and nervous like mine there's a big patch of grass outside for them to walk on after being in the car, and the waiting room is also pretty large as well.”

“I have used Beechwood vets since I got my very first dog in the 1980’s. I have always been seen promptly & given excellent advice. They are a very caring team & always ask about my other dog when I have taken the other dog for treatment. I know that if I have a real emergency I can go straight to them without an appointment (I have had to do this twice) & they will take the dog from me immediately & start treating the illness. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They are an excellent team.”

“We have travelled from Stoke circa 90 miles, to this referral hospital twice now because it's an outstanding place with outstanding people. Mickey Head Surgeon, really is incredibly talented, skilful, hard working, genuine, knowledgeable and in addition, kind and patient with pets and the humans attached. Top surgeon. Feel able to trust everything he says. All the team, surgeons including Danny, anaesthetists, nurses, reception staff, support staff etc have been brilliant on both occasions. It's better than a private human hospital in our view. We had to trust the team to take care of our boy who we love beyond words. They did us proud and deserve ten times the star rating available.”
