"Hours are all over the place and now the are closed on weekends. As a hiring manager, I do understand the struggle of dealing with labor shortages. It's also a struggle to get off at 5P only to rush to the pharmacy and sit in a line for 30 to 40 minutes. Perhaps we don't need a Walgreens every half mile and should consolidate labor to strategic locations in order to better serve the community. I'm sure everyone would be on board with that."
"I ordered pick up from walgreens and they gave me the wrong products without telling me and told me I had to get the products with less in it because they didn't have my original products and pay the same price. I was like, no, I'm not paying more money for less product. Very terrible customer service and disappointing. Don't go here."
"I wanted to share my FINAL experience with a local Walgreens Pharmacy, (4701 N. First Ave. Evansville IN). I apologize for the length of my issue, but felt compelled to explain what led up to my final experience with Walgreens. Back on 6/8/22 I took a Good Rx coupon for NP Thyroid 60 mg 90 tablet, and my doctor's script to your Walgreens store at 4701 N. First Ave. in Evansville IN. The pharmacy filled this script (as written Thyroid NP 60mg not indicating it was generic) for the amount on the coupon $32.39. They then returned the printed coupon with my receipt. I asked if I needed to bring the paper coupon on my next refill. The pharmacy worker, said the amount was "in the system" so it wasn't needed again. On 8/23/22 I had my NP thyroid refilled at the same location for the amount listed on the coupon and in the system, $32.39, (no where on the script was 'generic for' listed). Fast forward to 11/22-after 10:00 a.m. the day I went to pick up my NP thyroid script at the 4701 N. First Ave. in Evansville IN. store and was told the price was over $90.00! I told the pharmacy worker what I was told back in June, that the coupon was "in your system" for $32.39, she checked and sure enough, it was. This employee went over to the pharmacist who informed her that the script was filled with "name brand". I was asked if I wanted them to order the 'generic' from the warehouse? (According to Google, NP Thyroid is a brand-name version of Thyroid USP β a natural, desiccated porcine thyroid for treating hypothyroidism). I told her I was not going to pay 3 times the amount the script was supposed to be. She told me the script would be ready for me on Friday after Thanksgiving 11-25-22. I said I would pick it up, but gave them another day to assure the script was in-store. I found the coupon I turned in back in June along with the previous receipts from June and August to show them what I was told I would be paying. When I went there on November 26-22, pharmacist-Emily, who walked up to 'help' me didn't bother looking at the papers, just asked me what my name was, didn't want to see my records. She got the medication out of the cabinet and proceeded to ring me up. She told me the amount was $69.09. When I again tried to explain what I was told by Walgreen employees about the goodRX coupon, she said " We are not good RX, we are Walgreens!" I told her again I was told by a Walgreens employee the script would be the same amount for each refill! She said and I quote, "Don't cop an attitude with me, you can get your script somewhere else. You were told wrong." I was so shocked I told her (Pharmicist, Emily) not to 'cop an attitude with me'. She actually smirked, rolled her eyes, and laughed, and told me to take my script elsewhere. I told her to ring it up, I paid, and I will never step foot into a Walgreens again. I have never been spoken to with such disrespect, unprofessionalism, or bullied by a person who is supposed to help. Walgreens, you have a serious problem with Emily, as I could not be the first or only person she treated like this! I know I am just one customer but I was a long time customer and I have a large family and circle of friends that I will tell about this issue, and word of mouth is advertising-good or bad! I had been a long time customer of various Walgreens in the past and had excellent insurance coverage until I went on Medicare and had to resort to couponing. This experience has taught me that your company doesn't value it's customers, especially senior citizens, unless they can get the highest price! Thank you for nothing. Cindi Kueber"
"This is the reason I recommend not to trust this store with your health, it's too important. After about 5 months of partial refills and excuses from computer glitch or not bringing the script 3-4 days in advance (this script is electronic) or blaming corporate for not allowing that much inventory (28 doses). Today I called and was scolded by the Pharmacy Tech and was recommended I try a different store if I was unhappy. These are the reasons I cannot in good faith return to or recommend this Pharmacy."
"I have had multiple bad experiences here. 1) I received a message saying that my refill was ready for pickup. Once I got there I was told there was nothing ready for me. I asked for my specific medication and they said, "O that's been recalled" This was a daily medication that will affect you if you miss (for thyroid). I didn't have any at home and this was a Friday. They said they couldn't offer me anything and I would just have to contact my doctor. 2)I once again received a message that my refill was ready and I went to pick it up and got 2 medications. I was not told which ones I was getting. When I got home I realized that one of them was a wrong medication and one that I didn't even take. I went right back to the pharmacy and told them that it was the wrong medication and they said they couldn't take it back. I had not even opened the bag that the bottle was in! They said they couldn't give me a refund either. I strongly encourage you to not get your medications here. I will be switching pharmacies. 3) There have been multiple times that my medication has not been ready for pickup when I have received a message that it was ready. I also never received a call from them about my thyroid medication being recalled nor a call when the thyroid medication that I had to switch to was on back order...I just get all this information after I have loaded my kids in the van and wasted my time and gas driving there."
