"UPDATE ..... Changing my review to 5 star as they have reached out to my husband directly and addressed the issue. They were very apologetic and sincere. My husband and my boys will still be going here. As I mentioned we love going here and it's unfortunate that the last visit we had was bad. Could've been a bad day. Apologies If I had reacted harshly. I was just upset for my husband. Thank you again for quickly handling the issue. You've gained a loyal client with us. ......... My husband and my boys has been going to Mackhard for awhile now and we,very always had good service and we never had a complaints. Everyone there is very experienced .... BUT ... Today, my husband had a haircut with the guy stationed by the window today, didn't get his name but he butchered my husband's scalp. He left with cuts and punctures in his scalp. Never going with that guy again. I wish I can warn you properly to avoid this guy by giving his name but didn't catch it. I hope the owner of this Mackhard Elmhurst location takes a look into this matter."

"My son had a haircut today with Esat and he is so happy. It was a big change and Esat did exactly what my son wanted. We had a few pics for reference and he checked in with him throughout the service. Very skilled and professional!! We’ll definitely be back."

"I went in to this shoppe after being to a few other barbers and cheap places. I’m always running around and my schedule is random. One day I called and asked for a walk in and Jay said she’ll take me in! After that she did an AMAZING job on both my hair, and my beard the second time I went in. She always listens to requests and double checks her work. Her scheduling, flexible pricing, and friendly personality make it worth it! I referred my brother to her and he also loved her performance as well! So if you call or walk in ask for Jay and you won’t regret it!"

"Jay is fantastic, best barber I’ve ever had. She’s pleasant and friendly. The thing I like the most is the shaves she does, something I haven’t had access to in decades. Can’t recommend her highly enough. Lastly, the prices are very reasonable. My last barber started at $25 in 5 years it went to $40. So glad I did a walk in a 1 and 1/2 ago. Thanks Jay"

"Jay is Amazing ! The service has been outstanding! Been going to this location little over 2 years now. I have a four year and we have had a few people cut his hair, and while he does behave he is still a four year old. The amount of patience that Jay has every time is truly admirable. We usually try to see her every two weeks and she always manages to squeeze us in. My wife is always very impressed when we come home from the barber. Finally decided to write a review based on the last experience where Jay was so gentle and so careful to cut around his ears and neck that he ended up falling off in the chair. You don’t get that level of quality anywhere. I hope this location stays open forever. We don’t ever want another barber! Best barber in Elmhurst!"
