They were also quite quick, reasonably priced, easy to book and communicate with, and very kind during my service. "Just had about the worst nail experience I’ve ever had. The technician didn’t seem confident about what she was doing, and it looks like a have clumpy growths on my nails. And the whole time she seemed like in a bad mood and like she didn’t want to be there at all, and was actually kind of passive aggressive in a way. It just was not comfortable or enjoyable, and now my nails look rough. And I threw down $65 plus tip, now I’m kicking myself for tipping. I just have a really hard time not supporting service jobs. And for me to even be saying all of this is a big deal because it has to be something really bad for me to even post a negative review! Maybe it was just a bad day, but I won’t be coming back to this salon even though I live very close by! And it’s a shame because I see all the positive reviews and nice looking photos."

"By far the best nail salon in Logan Square (and probably on the west side!). All of the nail techs are friendly and go above and beyond to create the perfect end look for the clients. I also feel like it’s really clean and has a relaxing vibe. I love the color selections. This place does get very busy, be sure to call in advance to schedule! "I’ve been coming here for years and wouldn’t go to any other nail salon. It’s like a second home. They remember your name and previous services you’ve gotten done. Sharon is the best! If you want to feel like you’re hanging out with friends while getting your nails done this is the place to be. I always get compliments on my nails and the no-chip polish lasts until my next appointment. I wish I would post all of the pics I’ve taken with the awesome work Sharon’s done."

"I have been a client of Salon Chic for years and love it! Trang, the owner, and her staff are very friendly, personable, and do great work. They really get to know their clients and I like that about a place. It makes me feel at home every time I visit. My usual is a no-chip manicure and it lasts 3 weeks on average. Sometimes the manicures even last a month. If, by chance, your no-chip mani chips in under 2 weeks, you can go in and they will fix it for you free of charge. They have tons of colors to choose from and Trang regularly orders new ones to try. The nail techs perform fantastic manicures and they do nail art as well. I like to try different things so I let them have free rein many a time. I highly recommend this salon and plan on being a long time client."
