Village Green Park, located at 1810 Walters Avenue in Northbrook, Illinois, is a beautiful and welcoming community park. The park is maintained by the Northbrook Park District, which is currently seeking nominations for its Hall of Fame honoring outstanding athletes and volunteers. With over 60 inductees since 1978, the Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the park district through sports and volunteering. One young athlete, Ben Fingerman, had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play baseball at Wrigley Field through the MLB Pitch, Hit & Run program hosted by the Northbrook Park District. His mother, Jen Fingerman, described the experience as unforgettable and special, creating lasting memories for her son.
