“My time at Southern apartments was a wonderful experience. I was visiting the area under very emotional family events and was limited in movements due to covid restrictions. Bek the manager was so very approachable and accommodating right from the very first phone call to discuss my unique travel needs. She was very professional and kind in her help. The area was quiet. The apartment was presented extremely well and when anything else was required Bek was always easy to communicate with and followed through. My stay was a sad personal time and bek's kindness and professionalism was very comforting. I am very happy to recommend southern apartments as a place to stay. I would most definitely stay there again.”

“We had a lovely 5 days at Tom and Pam's Gardens apartment. Everything was perfect! Spotlessly clean. Warm and cozy with the gas heating. Exceptional attention to detail with the inclusion of everything you could need for a comfortable stay with the ability to cook for yourself. Very comfortable bed and chairs. The Gardens are lovely and Tom and Pam the perfect hosts. The location with bus stop so close made exploring Hobart easy. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the gardens apartment. “Great place to stay while in Launceston. Easy parking right outside the door. Very comfortable and warm. The biggest bonus was two great coffee shops a 30 second walk away and lots of great places to get dinner a 1 minute walk away and a fruit and veg shop. Will definitely stay there in the future.”

“I don't know where to begin.. Firstly - wonderful service. My significant other booked the incorrect dates, and they helped fix our little booboo lol. The apartment itself is well-designed and practical. I know the point of a holiday is to avoid cooking, but I really enjoyed preparing dinner both nights we were there. The view is beyond amazing, and the floor to ceiling windows bring in so much natural light. My only regret is not staying one more night.”

“These self contained apartments are older however are very clean tidy and warm. There are some ground floor apartments if you can't manage stairs as there are no elevators and approx 3 stories. The hosts are beautiful people and very knowledgeable of the local area. In walking and bus distance to many attractions restaurants and pubs. So much to see and do in Hobart”

“Fantastic location, right on the wharf and very close to 2 of the most popular restaurants in Hobart. Also a short 15 minute walk to the Salamanca area and the CBD. Accomodation (2 bed / 2 bath) was huge and clean and well-equipped. Reception is not 24x7 but out of hours key pick up was seamless.”

“Overwhelmingly exceeded my expectations, receptionist set the tone for our visit, so genuinely accommodating without being pretentious. Housekeeping staff friendly and welcoming and the room was the best! We have stayed in 3 hotels in Hobart in the past two months and this one is by far the best one. Will be our go to hotel in Hobart from this day forward… I’m so lucky there was availability for our stay, we will probably have to book ahead in the busier seasons.
