Parrots in Paradise
Parrots in Paradise is a sanctuary located in Kealakekua, Hawaii, dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of displaced parrots. Our mission is to provide a safe and loving environment for parrots who have been re-homed due to unfortunate circumstances. We educate the public on proper care for exotic birds and work to find healthy and nurturing homes for those in need. With over 80 friendly and non-aggressive parrots, visitors have the opportunity to interact with these beautiful birds and learn about the challenges faced by displaced parrots worldwide. Our sanctuary offers a 2-hour excursion for ages 3 and up, with a tax-deductible donation required. Donations of bird toys, local veggies, and other supplies are greatly appreciated and help support our work.
