“very fantastic park. lots of creativity when this was designed and it is such a blast when i went there. the pools are very relaxing and so is the slide. also there is a view to the waikato river which i suggest you should see.”

“Mostly a big open space featuring a dirty lake no good for swimming, and a patch of bush with scattered natural paths. A new fenced dog area has just opened. There is also a bike park is next door to a kids playground at the main entrance. Something for everyone here.”

“Gower park is awesome! We turned up to play football....... game started and we were down 2 nil by half time, 1 minute into the second half they scored again! We decided that this wasn't ok so we scored 6 goals and we won in a tremendous fashion”

“Friendly people, good dogs, water hose and bucket for them to have a drink and a special poo bag disposal unit. Fully fenced, shaded areas and seats available. Lots of room to run around, they also have a good sized agility course! Had a great time here with the dogs! They loved it too!”

“walking down to Ann river park, it's a great space for picnics also better to do some up hill training you can go down and feed the ducks some oats. Their is a park bench you can sit on to enjoy the space so good when the sun is out for a spot of lunch. You can just watched the runners go by nice big open space. You get a good view great place to relax. There is a cycling trail it goes on. Please make use of the rubbish bin don't leave your rubbish flying around if you're walking a dog pick up the mess with a dog bag and put in the bin. Hamilton council regularly empty the bin. All the maintenance is done by them on the park bench on the footpath mowing the lawns thank you for giving us such a wonderful area to enjoy. All of the houses along hear keep their gardens in Tip Top shape it looks beautiful really enjoyed all the flowers. So from a local to locals enjoy the space look after it it's a privilege”

“I recently found this place after 5 years of living in NZ. Not a bad place, quite relaxing. Thinking of setting off my kayaks from here but still a bit scared to do so. I think it would be nicer if there is free or coin barbeque spots here. Would attract more people and families”

“Lot's of flat open green spaces, awesome skate park and kiddies playground. Covered pinic area with two barbecues and solid, built-in wooden tables and seating. A great large, modern 4 Square store and very friendly staff”

“Fair enough options for the kids to spend a couple of hours. My 5yrs old girl had a good time. Rope climbing, four in row, zip line, swings, hammock, slides and huge park for being more active. Nice picnic (seating) areas.”
