“First time ordering on just eat. Steak pie was fabulous. Couldn't fault anything. Will be getting again. Soon !”
The Prancing Stag
“What an amazing find. Tucked away behind shops on Crow Road, Jordanhill. This restaurant deserves a 5 star review. My friend took me here for my birthday. The menu tho’ not extensive, offered a good seasonal choice. We opted for the 3 course set lunch menu, & each course was delicious. Mini hot rolls were brought to our table as soon as we were seated. The staff were delightful & attentive without being too intrusive. The member of staff had a good knowledge of their wine…we opted for a pale Rose which was perfect. Must give a mention to the Chef for the amazing food. Will definitely be back.”
Cafe Twenty Eight Ltd
“Got a voucher as a gift for here - wasn't sure what to expect, but I was definitely not dissapointed The food was amazing and all staff were extremely friendly. The owner came over to talk to us which we thought was so nice. We cannot recommend this place enough and ended up buying family members gift vouchers! Cannot wait to visit again!”
Olive It Med Ltd
“Excellent all round. Staff, atmosphere & the hot chocolate was yum! All chicken products Halal. Small seating area at window looking to Fenwick Road. Was busy whole time there but everyone was served and on their way very quickly so good for short lunch breaks. Big selection to choose from and offers meal deals at selected times. Enjoyed roll and bacon with potato scone! No grease or fat was perfect yum! Parking outside but quick stops only if you're lucky better parking behind in old Wholefoods car park which is still in use. Give place a try next can x”
Burristro
“First time trying Burristro and was very impressed. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff were excellent. We tried a chicken burrito and pork tacos with loaded fries to share. The food was amazing. Top quality ingredients, well prepared and cooked. We will definitely be back. Two tacos was ok but would have loved a third!”
Anadolia
“Really nice burgers and lamb skewers. Real layered swarma as well. The place looked spotless and even had some quirky seating that I know kids will love. The burgers (again the kids love) were a very good price. The star to me was the Sarbeni (flatbread with mince and other fillings), very tasty.”
Monadh Kitchen
“Ambiance was casual but elevated, the service was excellent which matched the food! We came for lunch for their prix fixe and had a mackerel confit, a chicken with asparagus risotto and sorbet for dessert. The salty mackerel was well balanced with the milder biscuit and fennel and the freshness of the mackerel was not overpoweringly fishy. The chicken tasted sous vide and was very tender despite being the breast. There was a generous amount of butter and cream in the risotto - it was so smooth! And the crunchy parmesan “cracker” was delicious. I tried so many sorbet flavours and must say the strawberry was definitely my favourite and perhaps the best strawberry sorbet i have ever had (admittedly I do not gravitate towards sorbets so have limited experience)… it tasted like fresh pureed sweetened strawberries! The vanilla ice cream has real vanilla bean (delish!); and if you like eating figs, the fig sorbet tastes exactly like a fresh fig. Highly recommend!”
Beaumartin The Cottage
“Absolutely magnificent food. The owners are wonderful, quality, presentation, and flavours of the food is unbelievable. A must try.”
Bella Vita
“Top notch Italian that we visit regularly. If it's good enough for Rod Stewart then it's good enough for me. Our wee 1 loves it too. Especially the fish tank!”
279 Cafe Bistro
“Food is absolutely out of this word. The price of the food is also cheap for what you get! The staff are absolutely lovely absolutely and the whole establishment in general is fantastic. Will be going back for a 3rd time very soon”
Mesa
“What a nice way to start your day! Beautiful cosy cafe on a popular road at the East Side of the city. Good coffee and they also have chai latte. One of the best brunch places at the city. It has nice food combinations of eggs and sandwiches using local products with an Asian cuisine influence.”
The Dapper Mongoose
“Went for a rare child free birthday dinner and had such a wonderful time. Love the ambience, the staff are so friendly and the food and drink are incredible. We especially liked the sourdough with chicken liver parfait, scallops, and the masala hake. Oh and the espresso martini!”
La Bella Ristorante Italiano
“Lovely restaurant and atmosphere and the food was delicious. Great friendly staff and service. Would recommend”
111 by Modou
“Outstanding experience at 111 by Modou, experiencing the 6-course trust menu for dinner on Thursday. Each dish demonstrated the creative genius of the chef while honouring local produce and classical flavour pallettes. We particularly enjoyed the homemade sourdough with truffle butter, the mackerel ceviche, the lobster ravioli, and the sea bass. Service was impeccable and attentive. Incredible value with the summer deal (6 courses for two with two aperitif cocktails for £55). With its ever-changing menu, this is a restaurant that we will keep returning to, and would strongly recommend booking!”
Six by Nico
“1st at Six by Nico and won't be our last. We went for the chippy menu and it was outstanding. Food cooked to perfection and each course explained by the lovely friendly servers. I was asked what my best course was and I honestly could not pick it was amazing.”
Maska
“After giving Maska a try last year, we never returned to our regular takeaway. Their dishes are super tasty, fresh and cooked to perfection each time, especially the Desi paneer and chana masala curries. You’ll also receive a very warm welcome as soon as you walk through the door. It’s little wonder that last year they won best takeaway in the whole of Scotland. We discovered them before they received that accolade, so are chuffed to have known them 'before they were famous' :-)”
Massimos At The Log Cabin
“Food is always lovely and at a reasonable price. Staff are very friendly and cheerful and always happy to help. We have been a few times and will continue to go. Massimos is always busy as people enjoy the food and friendly atmosphere.”
Kastriot's Mediterranean Bar & Grill
“Great food. Great choice of different dishes on the menu. Portions are fair value, tasty, well cooked and presented. Nice cheerful and competent staff. Pleasant enough decor and clean. I've been a few times now and I'll be back at any excuse. If you want a nice quiet meal or a gathering this is a good place to book. I'm sure you will not be disappointed.”
Singhs Tasty Villa
“Best takeaway in motherwell. The food Mr Singh produces is to an excellent standard, very fresh and tasty. The take away is one of the most hygienic food establishments in motherwell as he is constantly washing his hands after touching anything that could contaminate food. Great value for money. What more could you want from an Indian takeaway!”
The Hungry Gannet
“What a gem and so few would find it! You really don't often find a cafe/takeaway with such a range of fresh, appetising food to meet all tastes. Excellent value for money, great quality food. The menu is vast from all corners of the globe. I really enjoyed the decor, the cosy quirky feel and we were lucky enough to get a table, only 3 tables so get there early. I'd love to have tried the coffee but already had my caffeine quota, and maybe a cake next time! Staff super helpful and I enjoyed feeling like I was supporting a family run business who really care about their products and service. Will be back. Many thanks.”
Paolos
“Excellent little roll shop fantastic portions great quality. Great variety. The staff are funny and friendly. Not really suitable to sit in but doesn't matter if you want great food done fast. A must for a breakfast roll!”
Foodie Bistro & Cafe
“Good prices for large meals and tastes better than it looks in pics, mostly polish foods I'd recommend to give this place a try, sadly they only accept cash not cards”
Kantipur Nepalese Aroma
“We always take away from here, but sat in for the first time last week and even though the resturant was quiet it was really nice. Food all fresh and tasted great. Nan breads are huge and really lovely. Will definitely sit in again. Would be good to try the buffet area, it wasnt open when we were there.”
Little Hoi An
“Very popular and I can see why! The food tastes fresh and is full of flavour. Despite it being busy, there is no rushing you and the staff are very attentive and some of the friendliest I've known. They really go beyond to make your meal a great experience. Try the salt n chilli mushrooms, amazing! Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.”
Six By Nico Southside
“Amazing restaurant. 6 courses plus wine from their Hollywood menu. All courses were amazing. Super friendly staff. Well worth a visit.”
