“After a Google search for garages in the area, I contacted the Halfords Autocentre in Airdrie as the engine management warning light had lit up on my VW T6. I was on my second day into a two week holiday travelling the NC500 and was planning on travelling to Inverness the same day, but wanted to get this sorted before going any further. Staff on the end of the phone were very helpful and said to just drive in without needing to book the vehicle in and they’d have a look and do a diagnostic check. I arrived and again, staff were very knowledgeable, efficient and helpful, doing a full check and very quickly got me back on the road again with the problem sorted. Fantastic service - I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you everyone!”

I was informed a few hours later that my car is an absolute deathtrap with 29 faults and that it's basically for the scrap. So glad these guys done their work so thoroughly as I was running my daughter to nursery with my 7 month in the car. Glad I never took it on the motorway. “Great place - phoned 4 other garages prior, they were the only ones who discussed and predicted the likely problem immediately and were friendly and straight forward throughout. Phoned late Saturday, booked in for first thing Monday, and had the car all sorted and fixed by Monday afternoon. Good price, clear invoice, and turned it round very quickly. Really friendly staff across the board and transparent with estimates and pricing and potential 'worst case scenarios' which helped greatly, but luckily turned out to be a smaller problem than predicted. Went a little bit further out from my local than usual, and it paid off - would definitely use again.”
