"We love Miyabi's and have been many times, but our last visit on Feb 1 was awful. The chef did a great job, but he was frustrated because the hostess/server did not turn on the grill, so nothing was ready when it came time for him to cook. He then had to rush the food for us and do the best he could. Our waitress was awful. We had to get her attention several times to ask for refills and she neglected us for most of our meal and we frequently had to ask for other things we needed. I made it known that we had a birthday cake in the fridge for my daughter, but she brought out all the to-go plates and was ready to send us off without bringing the cake. I reminded her again that we had a cake in the fridge. She then came back out with the cake still tied up in the grocery bag, so I had to scramble to unwrap it all and set up while they were singing to my daughter and I missed the chance to see it or film it. For the amount of money we paid, the service was completely lousy. Again, our chef did a great job, but the food was definitely not up to par because he had to deal with the prior mistakes made by the wait staff. It was an extremely disappointing (and expensive) birthday dinner."

"We had to wait over 30 minutes for our chef to arrive. I literally had to call the front desk to have them see where my chef was. He came 3 minutes later. Food was good. Our waiter was great. Our food was delicious. I recommend the big papi roll 10/10."
