"The food is good here but the service is terrible. Not sure why they have people at this location who do not want to be there. Half the staff has an attitude and the other is not attentive. Cashier was talking about song lyrics during me ordering. I had a rewards from online I wanted to use and they said I couldn’t do it even though on the app it said “present to cashier” then I ordered my food with red beans and rice. They neglected to tell me they were out of forks so I literally had no way to eat my food. I go to this place because it’s convenient from where I live but after today I will no longer come to this location. This is not the first time I had to complain if not about service but not honoring food items from the app. So I’m done. They need to really re-evaluate their employees and the customer service. No matter who serves you it always seems to be the same issue"

"Negative reviews aren't my thing, but this location has let me down more times than I care to mention. I will now be traveling to the Windy Hill location for my Popeyes fix. Ordered at the window, pulled up, had to repeat my order at the window where the guy put it in for the first time, and asked me to pull to the side after taking my money. Waited 20 minutes as I watched cars come and go. Went inside with my receipt and asked about my order. Then the young man that took my order finally started putting my order together, no apology, no eye contact, nothing even with my order in hand from the receipt I supplied he still got the order incorrect. We spent a total of 45 minutes to an hour at Popeyes from the drive-through to the inside. Let me just say this was the better of the poor experiences that we have had at this location. I'm sure I'm the only one. I've had employees argue with me , food issues, and wrong orders. Apparently, the universe does not want me to spend my money here. I wish them luck and hope no one else has had issues here. Obviously, they don't see a need to fix them."

"Steve, (who is the store manager at this location) I grew up in Smyrna and the lack luster customer service I just experience is the reason why I won’t be returning. It is not a reflection of the area and environment nor is it a reflection of the people. Steve, you have employees sitting down on their phones not focused getting orders wrong and because of this your employee overcharged me now I have to be refunded in 3-5 business days for a combo I never placed. The staff is young and inexperienced. I was the only customer at the time why couldn’t 7 people on staff get it right. It’s unfortunate because I like Popeyes but this location really made me want to give up on the entire food chain. Signed not a happy camper"

"Easily the WORST Popeyes location. Rude and angry staff. Always out of things. Orders cold and wrong. Extremely absurd wait times for cold food. Doesn’t ever abide by actual listed hours. Absolutely FILTHY inside. This place should be shut down immediately."

"This place has its ups and downs. But when it has its ups its amazing the sweet wings and ghost pepper wings are freaking addicting lol. When they have them and can get them its so good. I ordered tonight 10/22/23 and it all went smooth. Wings were great. Sad that it took me a month and 3 different days of ordering them to get em. I'll keep coming back regardless. The crew here really is good"
