"The Savannah Room is the best kept secret in Athens. Great food and good portions. Very affordable wines by the Glass. Quiet atmosphere so you can actually hear the person you're with. Excellent desserts!"
"I booked one night for my daughter’s graduation almost a year ago. When I checked in they confirmed “you’re book for one night”. Naturally when the gave me the receipt to sign I did. I actually did not stay over night. I was then charged for 2 nights. First I was told it was a penalty fee for leaving early, then I was told their policy was that I had to stay for 2 nights because of graduation. This is terrible."
"Free breakfast is the best you will get anywhere. Coffee was excellent! The location is so peaceful and loved all the plants and trees on campus. Near lots of unique restaurants coffee shops and hangouts. Bulldog Bistro serves breakfast and lunch a la cart also at very good prices and also has dinner at Savanah room restaurant. We got the room through Expedia and applied points to get the room at a discount."
"Great service. Great location. I would stay here every time. We loved it. Rooms are tight, but nice and clean. You can't beat location. Price was not bad. Service was top notch. Breakfast was very good. My kids loved it."
"It would be hard to find a friendlier staff anywhere! The guest rooms and bathrooms are smaller than a typical hotel room but nicely appointed and adequate for an individual traveler. Public areas are beautiful and well maintained. The "weak spot" for this hotel is the quality of F&B. Overall I would recommend this hotel. I would stay here again but probably venture out for meals."
