"Service was really good and the waitress was VERY easy on the eyes. The food isn’t the freshest, what’s labeled on the menu doesn’t stand up to scrutiny (fresh local freshwater fish), and wasn’t too bad. Their dessert menu looked pretty good. I had the chicken liver which was a bit overcooked and dry for my particular taste, but might be fine for some. The stuffed mushrooms were microwaved, which is an unforgivable shortcut in a restaurant with a kitchen and a chef. The collared greens were good. It was very competitively priced with the 4, yes 4, Mexican restaurants in town (weird)."

"This was a real surprise in a small north Georgia town. The place looked brand new and the service was excellent. They had a great menu with lots of options and the prices for these inflationary days were very reasonable. They have an excellent dessert menu too. We had the banana pudding but I really wanted the chocolate cream pie. We split the banana pudding so we wouldn't eat so much sugar."

"We took our rainbow trout catch and they cooked it for us so perfectly. The side dishes and the dessert was very yummy. We loved our waiter Lynn. She was so friendly. Great service. Nice people. Great food."

"Mixed feelings about this place. Service depends on who you talk too. Mostly nice but some not. Menu typical cafe variety includes beer wine soft drinks. As a knowledgeable beer drinker, it bothers me when a place offers craft but has no idea what it is and how to serve it. Took 3 people to determine the beer on menu, and then it was served in a unclean glass. Just google beer clean glassware and you will know what I did not get. Had the burgers, priced good and were ok. The place was understaffed when I was there, half capacity but 20 minute wait. Small town not many choices, might go again and hope for better"

"Nice atmosphere, great service and fabulous food! Bowl of French onion soup was delicious, filled with croutons and onions, topped with cheese, and broth was perfect! Most soups are too salty, but this was spot on. Shrimp and grits was a generous portion that included 8 shrimp over cheesy grits, in a flavorful Cajun cream sauce. The corn casserole side was delectable. Wish there was room for aslice of one of their house made cakes!"
