"Rincon office is mismanaged!! In January of 2023 we found out my daughter had allergies to milk, eggs, and wheat. She’s 12. At that time we needed an epi pen and other documents filled out for school. We scheduled the appointment to get her ready for the next school year for 7/28/23, to be sure she was good to go for everything. In June the office had to reschedule because that new doctor won’t take kids, so they can push the date back to 9/7. I stressed she needed to be seen before the school year starts, she also needs vaccines! I can’t just go to health department, last time I was charged over $500 for vaccines, because insurance will pay us back. News flash some insurance companies won’t reimburse you, because you should have gotten vaccinated at the doctors office! Office didn’t care, they scheduled for 9/7. The week before the appointment they call and reschedule her for 9/6 okay a day sooner, no problem. I got a call on 9/1 saying they have to reschedule her again and the next appointment date is 10/11! I argue no I can’t do that, she needs to get her vaccine otherwise she can’t go to school, at that point I am told they are unable to provide vaccines at all! WHY WAS I NOT TOLD THIS IN JUNE?? WHY I WOULD HAVE TRIED TO GET A NEW DOCTOR WE ALL KNOW NEW PATIENT APPOINTMENTS ARE TYPICALLY 3 MONTHS OUT! This person doesn’t want to deal with me, she’s only been employed here for 2 months and it’s not her fault. While I get that it is not her fault and she is apologizing, that does not fix anything, they have notes on what the original appointment was for and need to get us in. I made the first appointment 7 months in advance! The response was that our provider left and the new provider doesn’t see children. WHY HAVE WE BEEN RESCHEDULED TIME AND TIME AGAIN? WHY WOULD MANAGEMENT NOT JUST SAY WHEN THE PRACTICE MADE THE CHANGE “UNFORTUNATELY WE CAN NO LONGER SUPPORT CHILDREN AS PATIENTS AND YOU NEED TO FIND CARE ELSEWHERE? I waited on hold for sometime while she got her supervisor to come to the phone, supervisor never got on! I was told that the supervisor would call me back today! It’s a 3 day weekend and the supervisor Pam never called me back! My other child is scheduled to be seen Tuesday the day after this long weekend! I will not be taking him in, If they can’t provide the service needed why would we go and pay for nothing! I have found another doctor for my entire family since I will not be going back here, the plan was to cancel my sons appointment when Pam called me, but she never did! I can’t understand if it’s a branch issue or if there is a policy as to why they would waist our time instead of doing the responsible thing. I would like to think it’s a policy issue, but if that was the case then rather then arguments with patients why didn’t they have the higher up handle the situation of telling us to find a new provider!"
