MainStay Suites Savannah Midtown

"The lobby is nice, the pool is great and the breakfast was good. However, the first room they gave us had no hot water and the phone didnt work, and plaster was falling out of the ceiling into the tub. Asked for a new room. This one was much better, however we found that one of the folded towels was actually dirty and unwashed so we asked for clean towels. The worst part is there are very sketchy people living here, loitering, working on their cars in the parking lot, playing loud music, and one of them asked if we wanted to buy drugs. The room walls are so thin i could hear people talking in the next room and someone vomiting all night."

"STAY AWAY! This place is a dump!!! Both the sleep inn and mainstay sides because they are all connected. Management here refused to give a refund when I checked out early and had to stay at a different choice hotel property because even after changing rooms 3 times it was still missing part of the coffee maker."

"Nice hotel, will definitely stay here again. Clean, safe, extra nice breakfast bar with friendly staff that kept items stocked and area clean.Didn’t use pool due to weather but clean and in nice central area. Don’t be afraid to book here!"

"The rooms were nice but the walls are thin & they only had one staff member that was a decent, competent human being. The guy at the desk when I arrived said they didn't have the room I booked & had already paid for. He ran my card 3 times & when I talked to the manager she assured me it would be reversed & I would have that money back in 48hours. Well it's been almost a week now & still I do not have my money back. No one can seem to help me. And when I try to call I don't get the actual hotel I was at, I get choice hotels & all they can do is help me file a complaint I'm sure is never followed through with with any kind of action. The dishes in the room had to be washed again before we used them, there were two microwaves because 1 didn't work, & the stove top didn't work either. Overall the worst hotel experience I've ever had & I've seen some shady hotels. But at least the others didn't rob me. I would give it negative 10 stars if I could. Do not waste your time or money!!!"

"Staff was really nice and the lobby was clean but I probably wouldn't stay here again. After we moved to our second room the hallway wasn't clean. We could see the obvious plaster repair on the walls everywhere and they definitely need new furniture (chips and scuffs all over). What was the purpose of 3 remotes for 1 TV? Please get the issue with the water fixed."
