"Stayed here (Begonia) over the past weekend with friends. The place was exquisite! Exactly what one needs for a weekend getaway. Very clean and tidy. Everything was in walking distance so we were able to park our car in the garage that comes with the rental the entire weekend. I would certainly recommend this place for a weekend getaway with friends."

"The Crawford House is well furnished and clean for a short stay. However, our experience with a 5 week stay was less than satisfactory. I do have to mention that it was during mid January to mid February, but it was obvious that no one had been in the property for some time prior to our checking in to see that all was well. The first indication of this was the large roach lying dead on the kitchen floor. The living room has only one window with bars that doesn’t open making that room dark and always cold. The gas fireplace smelled so bad it couldln’t be used and the furnace was so loud that you could not hear there TV when it was running. And, it was unusually cool for a Savannah winter while we were there. The shower in the master bath leaked, the stairs has no treads and were difficult to maneuver even for fit 60+ folks. The TV remotes “ate” batteries and had to be taken out after every use to preserve them for even a day or two. The backyard was covered in leaves, dead plants, etc. when we arrived and we had to clean it up in order for our puppy to even go out there. The floor splintered due to no thresholds being installed between the kitchen and dining room. The kitchen had one small cookie sheet for oven cooking. And, to top it all off, there was construction going on on the units on either side and an apartment building being built right behind. The neighbor on one side was nice enough to stop pounding, sawing, etc. when we asked, but sitting outside on what were a few nice days was impossible. We reported all of this to Brooke and Andrew, the owners, but never really got any help or response. Andrew stopped by to put new batteries in the remote once and Brooke dropped off hangers (there were none in the unit when we arrived). So, beware!"

"This place is GORGEOUS! The home is stunning, and exactly like the pictures, which is so rare these days. Brooke has made sure that your stay is absolute perfection, down to every last detail. We stayed in Unit A from July 14-16, 2017. The home is so close to everything, and great for a group. We never moved our car out of the garage all weekend. This will be my "home away from home" every time I am in Savannah!"
