"i went to this location yesterday for a consultation at 11:50. they made my boyfriend wait outside for the entire 4 hours we had to wait because they overbooked appointments to make up for no call/no show appointments and everyone had actually shown up that day. they made everyone with a partner have them wait outside no matter how long it was taking which can be very upsetting given the environment and circumstances that some people visit this particular clinic for. not having your support within arms reach was upsetting. today, i had another appointment at a different location who had made me aware that i was not given all of the information i was supposed to recieve at this location. they give you a folder of information and reading material to look over and they go over the first page of said folder with you and thats it. at my appointment today, i was asked a question i genuinely could not answer because that information was not given to me at the kendall location. very scary and possibly detrimental to another persons health. clinics like this should provide you all the information to make the most informed choice possible and this location did not. the woman at the florida mango office took my information and i believe is reporting this incident to their head office. i would avoid if possible"

"I came in today originally just to do blood work and leave a urine sample. Upon discussion it was determined that I was due for a pap smear. Although I was originally scheduled for a very short appointment, this facility's staff were gracious enough to make room and do a more complete wellness visit for me (even though they did NOT need to do this today). The girls at the front desk were kind and swift, Olga did a phenomenal job intaking me and drawing my blood, and APRN Kirkland not only clearly cares about educating her patients, but was GENTLE down there! very grateful for all of them!"

"My experience with doctor Grace Hernandez was rather extremely unpleasant. I went to the clinic to get an IUD inserted (Paragard). When the procedure of inserting the device began, she did not let me know when she was going to insert the speculum inside of me, it took me by complete surprise. Neither did she add any type of lube to help insert it. This has never happened to me before. Every time I have gone to other gynecologists I have been treated with more respect and care. They have let me know when they were going to start up the procedures and what they were going to do. But she definitely did not. So as soon as I noticed she had done this, (since it took me by SURPRISE) I asked her to stop. I literally said “pero ya va!!”, like, wait hold on a second!!!! It obviously hurt, I’m not used to be put in hard metal things inside of my v*****, specially when it’s not lubricated. I got nervous and my legs started shaking for the abruptness of the insertion. She asked me to calm down, at the same time she left the heavy piece of metal hanging IN there. How do you really expect someone to relax when they have a speculum inside of them just hanging there for a minute? A speculum is not lightweight. I feel like she could and should have at least hold it so that I could feel less pressure at that moment. I have a retroverted uterus, and I told the doctor before I even laid on the gynecological stretcher. She seemed to not care, given that she was rather abrupt in her treatment towards me. Evenmore, she han assistant. So she definitely could have taken the time to treat me more gently, specially when this was going to be my first inception of an IUD device. Overall I had a terrible experience at “planned parenthood”. There are doctors out there who would treat patients with more care and be more communicative with them. I would not come back to this clinic or recommend anyone either."

"Worst place we have ever been in our ENTIRE life… My wife had an appointment at 1:30 PM and she was seen at 3:00 PM and we ended up leaving this place at 4:30 PM. I also call my wife on the phone and the nurse took her cell phone from her and she told me in a very RUDE way to wait for me and if she didn't like me, I should leave. This is THE WORST PLACE and THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE we have ever had in our lives. Why do you make appointments if you don't keep your word?"
