"Service was great atmosphere is what we expected My wife and I hadn't been to Captain D's for a very long time and were excited that we were both were thinking about it. So we have the chance since ours locally had closed down closer to home. Unfortunately the food wasn't what we remembered it was pretty bland nothing exciting so it was okay that we hadn't been there in a while."

"I was a loyal customer of this location for almost a year. I took a little break before I came back and just went back recently at the beginning of december. I have not so great experience when ordering through the drive thru. Normally, I had always had a wait, even up to about 10 min., but in return, the food was fresh, hot and the order was accurate. This time we waited almost 20 minutes. No one even came to the window to acknowledge us beyond the order at the speaker. When they eventually handed out the food, and we pulled up front to eat(we were out Christmas shopping), I can tell you the grease was definitely old, and the food was like warm at best. They also forgot my friend's side item, so I had to go back through. Not really very happy with this last visit and I do hope it isn't representative of the future. Not sure I want to even try here again. I would love to come back and hope it is the service I had come to expect with the quality of food I had always had, until then, stars went from 5 to 2."

"I travel for work and dine out a minimal of twice per day, five days a week, that’s an average of forty meals plus per month. I can’t remember the last time I endured such a horrible dinning experience. I started off by asking about double shrimp which was advertised on the large outdoor sign, not one employee knew what I was talking about, including the assistant Manager and Manager. I said never mind and just ordered the fried fish, extra crispy fries and coleslaw, I also opted for breadsticks in lieu of hushpuppies. I’m told to take a seat and our orders will be brought to our table. They are out of plates. The fish was chewy and taste like chicken, the fries were barely cooked and I received hush puppies instead of breadsticks. I’m in town for several more days but will definitely not be returning to this location. Bathrooms were disgusting!!!!!"
