"Very muddy right now, couldn't complete one of the loops because of the trail condition. But otherwise cute place to go walk and see wildlife. Some bugs."
"Nice hike! Most of the trails are paved or boardwalk and it’s pretty easy to navigate. I just wish the hike was longer since some portions were washed out by recent rains."
"Love this preserve! Lots of free parking and open from dusk to dawn daily. There’s a nice paved loop that’s a short loop. You can add the Sweet Bay Trail which we did this morning. Currently pretty flooded so be ready if you go that way. There’s another loop that takes you out to the river, we didn’t go that way as it often has water in dry season, didn’t want to find out today!"
"Site is open and makes for a nice walk with or without your dog. 4 trails, Live Oak (ADA Compliant), Sweet Bay, Fetterbush, and East River. Note east river has a number of very wet areas even in dry season (I had to carry my dog) as it was deep for her. Other Trails are nice and easy to walk."
"Took the kids to this park today. It was really nice and quiet. We didn’t see many animals. A couple birds, lizards and a dragon fly. That’s about it but the trails are very serene and easy to navigate. The kids loved that is was dog friendly and we ran into several others with their furry friends. The boardwalk was great to walk. I would definitely recommend you stop by and check it out. Will have to bring our bikes on our next visit as they have a trail specifically for them."
