"One of the best places in the keys to stay at. The attention to detail is incredible. Everything is clean and well kept. There’s a handful of games on the private beach, lots of seating area, a private pier to fish off of, and a clean beach. The sand is swept everyday and your room is cleaned every day. This is a MUST STAY with a significant other. 10/10 resort. The owners are always there on site to help you and are not corporate operated. This is what makes it better from the rest folks. Lastly, the facility is very secure and safe. Gated entrance, lots of cameras, and the police pass by every 5 minutes on the main road."
"Everything about Island Bay was a dream! From the gates entrance, to the amazing landscape, to all the decor and cottages. It was so peaceful and private, the use of kayaks/paddle boards, and peddle boats made seeing the sunset on water a dream! Would highly recommend!"
"We discovered Island Bay Resort in winter 2023 and absolutely loved it, so much so that we booked 2 weeks this winter (2024) for another stay. The resort is beautifully maintained, perfectly located, hosted by two awesome hosts, Lauren and Austin, and has simply wonderful rooms and overall amenities. We have been completely thrilled with Island Bay Resort and, since we generally come to the Keys each winter for a couple weeks, will plan to always stay here at the resort."
"What an amazing local gem! We booked a weekend stay and I can't wait to come back for longer. Family owned, friendly service. So much thoughtful detail has gone into the property and rooms. Each room has its own theme. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. Resort has its own private beach on the baybwhere you can kayak, etc. Quiet, relaxing weekend. Highly recommend!"
"Such a gem! My husband and I spent a few days here and absolutely fell in love with this place. It’s calm, quiet, and a beautiful place to relax for a few days. Resort has charcoal barbecues, kayaks, paddle boards, lawn games, and plenty of comfortable seating for lounging."
