"Very disappointing to see how this doctor accepts insurances. I called as a pregnant transfer patient with no health issues and good healthcare insurance. The front desk told me to pay $600 cash upfront for my first visit as they do not accept insurances for transfer patients for this visit. This is not acceptable and even without having an insurance a patient visit is much cheaper with many other obstetrician doctors. Good luck !"

"A year ago, Dr. Diaz-Socarras deliverd my baby. I had an emergency induction so my OB was not able to attend my delivery. It was my first time seeing Dr. Diaz-Socarras and it was such a great experience! He listened to every word I said. He respected my wishes He never pressured me into doing anything. He explained everything, pros and cons, and answered all my questions. I felt in control of my delivery. While I was screaming in pain he kept me calm and even made me laugh. After my baby was born, he came to chek on me everyday, and I love how he started his advise "If you were my wife, I'd tell you to..." that made me feel like I wasn't just another patient, I felt like he saw me as family. His bedside manner is excellent, he really cares about the families he attends to. I would definitely recommend Dr. Diaz-Socarras, as a matter of fact I have recommend him to several of my friends and they too are very happy with him. I will be forever grateful to him for helping me deliver my baby safely into this world!"

As a first time mom, you have millions of questions and he takes all the necessary time to explain you everything, not like any other hurried doctor’s appointments. He is always available to contact if anything comes up (at any time) and he responds quickly which males you feel that you are their only patient. He and his team and the most professional, friendly, and kindles, always willing to help you. He is definitely the best OBGYN in South Miami Hospital.
