"I’ve never had a worse experience in a hospital on 7/14 we entered the ER after my daughter broke her humerus, during the meeting with the OR doctor they tested her for COVID, this is where the problems commenced. We were then placed in a room with normal COVID procedures but no one wanted to attend my daughter nor her needs. She woke up at 2 AM requesting pain meds, they did not respond till 3 that is a full hour of waiting. Morning came and they kicked me out of the room, leaving her alone there was the worst decision, they told me she was in good hands, she calls me saying that she’s in her room the door closed no one comes in and her a/c has been turned off . To top it off her PA calls saying because she tested positive no one wants to come into the room, I’m sorry isn’t this a hospital? Aren’t there procedures? Is she not a patient? 3 surgeries pushed back and now we have a date on Tuesday 4 days of her in pain incredible what our health system has come to, solid stuff. While asking the paper work to get her discharged, she calls me saying that she’s been waiting 30 mins for someone to come in and help readjust her arm, no one came. Finally before she left after all my complaints to patient services reached someone, and the nurses on the floor which by the way is the third floor decided to ambush her and come at her, that is not correct nor professional. Maybe if they did there job, people would not complain. The ending of this story is her coming home without pain meds and the nurse calling after discharging her saying the doctor came to see you. Clearly incompetent and clueless. It’s incredible how the motto is the “Hospital that cares” seems like they rather get paid to here complaints then do there jobs correctly. Upset that is the new health care."
