Bay Pines STEM Center

This $4.7 million facility, opened in 2017, offers research opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math disciplines. The campus features two state-of-the-art labs equipped with high-definition equipment for projecting microscopic images and graphics, catering to the needs of 24 students in the larger lab and facilitating group research projects in the smaller lab. Students enrolled in marine or environmental-themed courses at SPC have access to a wide range of lab equipment, including microscopes, incubators, refrigerators, measuring and calibration tools, and autoclaves. The center also boasts an auditorium/multipurpose room that can accommodate up to 90 people, with the flexibility to be divided into two separate spaces. Equipped with a catering kitchen, this space is ideal for hosting events and meetings for college or community groups.
