"Worst hospital ever. My mother had a stroke and was brought from her skilled nursing facility to this hospital. She was in Neuro ICU where it wasnt horrible but only a few days. Once released to a room , communication ceased, compassion gone. Nurses acted too busy. My mom was discharged and sent back to her rehab in worse shape and no one telling my family she was discharged. This place should be shut. I will be filing a formal complaint with the state. She left in worse shape"

"I have experience many different times different experience but when I was in ICU on the second and the third floor I have had a wonderful experience this time when I went on January 6 I had the opportunity of working with Sam, Maria ,Todd & Odell I think that each one of them have their on personality. it might be some more people that I Have to mention later but they were out on the floor. but they have a great attitude they look like they love their job love what they do they do talk to you they don’t just come in and do what they need to do and leave they do talk with you so they make you feel like you are a person Each and everyone of them have their own Way of making you feel except it. but they are great at what they do. and I would like to thank each and everyone of them for the love they showed me why I were in their care when I went out on the second floor room 254 there were Deborah Marine Marlene I can’t remember the other two ladies name but they were great I stayed with them at one night and a day and I had a great experience I had a private room it was clean and when I run the bell they came when I needed them no problems whatsoever what they’re saying about Florida Medical Center is not true I’ve been in there several times and each time I had a great experience thank you"

"Beware of some of the nurses; they are not very friendly. And when they tell you that your post op room is almost ready, don’t believe them till you are in that room. They lie. Also be careful of letting them shave your private area for procedures as they can hurt you. You are better off doing it yourself, otherwise they will leave you red and raw. If possible go to HCA hospital as it is much nicer. Above review is based on a September 2023 outpatient visit. A November 2023 outpatient visit was the exact opposite. Although shaving was not needed."

"My husband is having a very invasive spinal surgery, I was apprehensive by the reviews, so far, I only can say good things, from the registration, the nurses, anesthesiologist, surgeon, all 100% committed to great service, still waiting for my husband to get finished the procedure, but I have been kept informed every step, at least 4 phone calls, which for family in waiting room is always a plus to know each step. I will update my review upon completion of stay, just want to say, not all reviews are objective, this Florida Medical Center is pretty good 5 days in, and my opinion remains intact. Very professional staff and caring personnel"

"These people are literally killing my mom My mom never had nothing heavier than Tylenol She was talking on the phone and everything they started giving her methadone, after the second dose, she never spoken word again. So now she can’t even answer her phone or wake up I called and asked several times for them not to give it to her methadone. I can understand her life coach being over her medication. But not her proxy. Her life coach didn’t know her no longer than two weeks , I live out of town even the life coach handed me her bank card, and handicap sticker went back to her apartment. All her food and important papers are gone and a lot of other stuff."
