I highly recommend it for anyone who is nostalgic of the dishes they would have known when they were younger, or simply for those who want to discover the flavors of West Africa . The peanut butter or the okro soup with goat meat are just undefeated, they are one of my monthly treats."
"The staff is always friendly and greets you with a smile. The portions are good, the food is so good and full of flavor. I love the goat! The meat is tender, the spinach stew is great, I love the Jollof and even the jerk chicken was great!! Do yourself a favor and try this place out. They’re also at Brickhouse in Wynwood on Saturdays which is a plus!!"

"My husband and I recently stumbled upon Sankofa Kitchen International, and being long-time Miami residents, the discovery of an authentic African restaurant was cause for immense excitement. We wasted no time in driving over to experience it firsthand. As soon as we walked in, we were graciously welcomed by Philipa and her husband. Their warm smiles and genuine hospitality set the perfect tone for our visit. We engaged in a delightful conversation before placing our order for takeout. The food, without a doubt, exceeded our expectations. Every dish we tried was a symphony of Ghanaian flavors, and my husband couldn't stop praising the jollof rice, plantains, and the diverse array of stews and soups. The authenticity of the cuisine transported us on a culinary journey to West Africa. The impeccable service further enhanced our experience. The staff's insights into the menu and their commitment to ensuring our visit was exceptional were truly commendable. Sankofa Kitchen International has now become a regular weekly stop for my family and me.
