"It is impossible to get a hold of anyone at the hotel. They don’t answer the phone or emails. I have been trying to cancel a reservation and the website is also useless for this."
"Huge disappointment. Reserved the room for my granddaughter & new husband for their wedding night, both are huge fans of UF. Earlier that day they were married in the beautiful Baughman Center on the UF campus. Her description of the room was less than appealing, dirty bathroom & outdated room. The only saving grace was the balcony. As a parent of an alumni & grandparent of the bride, I would not recommend springing this “surprise” on anyone. I definitely expected better of UF"
"It was perfect for a few nights while my son and I toured the UF campus. 2 queens sized beds with a separate kitchen and living room with pull out couch."
"The Reitz Union Hotel on the campus of the University of Florida is conveniently located when attending events at UF. The standard room rate is very competitive and the complimentary parking is a much appreciated ammenity. The room we stayed in was spacious, two beds in the room were very comfortable. The mini-refrigerator cooled quickly allowing us to keep waters nice and cold as well as a few snacks we had brought with us for our visit. The bathroom had all of the expected amenities. There are charging ports for electric devices in the room in addition to cable television. An unexpected treat was the balcony with a table and chairs. The front desk staff was very courteous and welcoming during check-in. Thank you Kennie. Will definitely try to stay here when we visit again!"
"The Reitz Union itself is beautiful. It feels good to be there and it invokes personal drive and creativity. The hotel rooms and beds are smaller than expected and parking is difficult until you've obtained your room key. The shower is quite pleasant. The provided breakfast consists of larger yogurt cups, cereal boxes, and bagels to get you started. Overall quite a pleasant experience, and as always, Go Gators!"
