If you are planning to stay in the Gainesville area and want an apartment style hotel room this is the place, you can’t go wrong."

"I don’t travel much so when I do I like things with a sense of excellence. We understand there was a recent remodel and all spaces we saw were very nicely appointed. In fact, I slept hard in that new bed- unheard of when I leave home! I know there’s a big highway right behind the hotel, but, it didn’t bother me a bit! Haha! Regarding the people: every employee was more than polite; they were actually friendly! This hotel had staff such as Malcolm, with a personal professionalism that I don’t see often anymore. A young man like that is certainly an asset! The lady in charge, Faye, was phenomenal and certainly had a true grasp of how people like to be treated and that the details matter. Housekeeper Mia went above and beyond for me! Carlos at the front desk was so helpful every time I needed help! Great crew, which means great leadership: WELL DONE, Faye! We will be back and will tell all of our Facebook friends especially those who travel frequently!!"

"Right from the start, my visit to the Residence Inn was amazing. The front desk agent, Jess was very pleasant and helpful. I rented four rooms as we were working in the area. The rooms were clean and well appointed. After unpacking I discovered I left my charger at home. I went to the front desk to inquire about purchasing one. Jess, took one from her purse and loaned it to me. Now that is first rate service. Thanks for a great stay."

"Right off i-75 this is a clean affordable and nice hotel. Got myself a king bed in a room with a full kitchen and a nice flatscreen for a very reasonable price. Check-in took a while as this is a popular hotel. Desk lady said she was almost out of rooms! Makes sense for the accommodations. Carlos was very friendly during checkout hence my review. Definitely one of the nicest Residence Inn’s I’ve been to and I have nearly 100 nights in various Marriott’s this year. Thank you for a nice stay on a random Monday night in January."

"They're working on a renovation project and I was in a recently updated room. It was pretty nice. For a studio room, it was spacious. I'm a frequent business traveler (Lifetime status with Marriott and Hilton), so I knew what to expect overall. They haven't upgraded to NFC door controls though, so you can't get a digital key and need to stop at the front desk. The staff was super friendly. The microwave in my room didn't work and they heated up my food for me in the kitchen. I'm only here one night, but I assume they'll have it replaced/repaired soon. Due to its location, you do hear the traffic noise from the highway if you don't have the TV on. My room (506) faced the highway so it might be better on the other side of the hall."
