"This was probably one of the worst stays that we have had in the past few years. The hotel was terribly understaffed, and we had to wait about 15 minutes for the clerk to come back to check us in. He was continually back and forth from the desk as he had to check on housekeeping and other routine hotel issues. Because of understaffed housekeeping, we had to wait to check into our room. The bedding was clean and comfortable, but the room overall was pretty shabby. Needed paint, and a deep cleaning. When I stepped into the wet shower, all of the dirty grime from the floor came off my feet, as evidenced by the brown water going down the drain. The bathroom was also acceptable, but needed a deep cleaning. Then we woke up the next morning and found out there was no breakfast. Why? Because the person who is supposed to make the breakfast didn’t show up. Rather than the clerks asking the manager to find somebody else, there was simply no breakfast. And the hotel was packed with a bunch of adolescent boys who were there for a baseball tournament. I wonder how they felt with no breakfast. The woman at checkout was not in a particularly friendly mood because of all this. I think she was a little embarrassed. She was totally exasperated. Her attitude reflected something like “welcome to my world“ I would definitely not stay here again. Certainly not up to the standards we have experienced and come to expect from Marriott TownPlace hotels."

"Roaches! I saw a roach in the lobby and thought it was a fluke. After being in the room for a few hours even more roaches came to visit. The bed, even though king size, was totally worn out and saggy. After my AC was in several hours the carpeted floor became damp. At least the linens and towels were clean and they provided soap and shampoo."
