He earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, where he also completed the prestigious Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship in Urologic Oncology.
His six-year urology residency at The University of California, San Francisco, included a year dedicated to surgical education research, further honing his expertise in one of the nation's top-ranked Urology Departments. With over 20 peer-reviewed publications and multiple book chapters, Dr. Truesdale is a well-recognized expert in his field.
