"After seeing many great reviews about Bruno's we decided to try it. It was well worth the 96 mile drive from Fort Lauderdale to Naples. We shared a slice of the sicilian pizza as an appetizer. The wife loved the Linguini with clams and white wine sauce, I loved the greek salad. As good as the food was the service was even better. Friendly family atmosphere. The sicilian pizza was so delicious we ordered a whole box to take home. Already looking forward to coming back soon."

"From New Haven to Naples: Finding Pizza Paradise at Bruno's! As a proud New Haven area native who frequented New York City hundreds of times, I've always loved the crispy thin crusts of New York to the charred edges of New Haven's legendary “pies”. So, when I found myself at Bruno’s Italian House in Naples, Florida, I never expected to stumble upon a taste of home and bonus, it’s a family-owned and operated! The cozy atmosphere and warm welcome from the hostess was reminiscent of the beloved pizzerias back home. The aroma of freshly baked dough transported me back to Wooster Square. I hope they can add a white clam pizza to the menu at some point (hint hint!) From the friendly greetings at the door to the personalized recommendations from the owners themselves, it was clear that Bruno's wasn't just a restaurant – it was a labor of love, passed down through generations of restauranteurs as we soon discovered while chatting with the owners. (The family owned a well known and beloved restaurant right outside of New York City)! As a Sicilian blooded American who has had the privilege of traveling to Italy, I noticed many Italian favorites on the menu. We couldn't resist trying a few dishes, including pizza, the soup of the day, salad, and an entrée—because why not LOL? We love to eat! The Chicken Florentine with tender chicken, a rich yet delicately light sauce, alongside freshly wilted spinach and creamy mozzarella was reminiscent of a dish prepared by my father (an excellent cook) and my Nonna. The chef's soup was obviously not a “Sysco” soup but hand prepared from scratch in the open kitchen. We loved the partial open kitchen concept! As someone who reads the restaurant inspection reports for Lee and Collier county, I love the transparency of being able to observe the cooking process, the freshness of ingredients, and the skill of the chef. Chef Mike was visible and even came out to check in with diners. The sights, sounds, and aromas emanating from the kitchen created a lively atmosphere and added to the ambiance of the restaurant. We already have our sights set on the thick-crust Grandma's and Sicilian pizzas for our next visit since we had the traditional style crust this time. We also plan on trying the Mussels Marina and traditional “Pizza Salad” or “Salad Pizza” as I call it too! If I am craving a comforting baked pasta dish or my honey wants a big satisfying Chicken Parmesan grinder, this will be our go to!"
