The pool, which holds 173,218 gallons of water and features eight lanes, is heated and open year-round. Lap lanes are available for swimmers looking to get in a good workout, while aerobic classes are offered four days a week. Water walking sessions are also held on specific days for those interested in low-impact exercise. The pool, which opened in August of 1989, is home to the Gulf Coast Swim Team and provides swim lessons for all ages throughout the year.
