Effective May 15, 2023, the park has re-opened for limited day use activities, including beach access and operational boat ramp. Some areas of the park remain closed, so visitors are advised to adhere to all posted signs and avoid closed areas. Parking is extremely limited, and the park will temporarily close to new vehicles when the lot is full. Pedestrians and bicyclists are still allowed to enter the park, and a free beach shuttle service is available from Conner Park. For a fee of $6 per vehicle, visitors can enjoy one of the most pristine stretches of beaches in the world at Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park. The park offers beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico, as well as opportunities to sunbathe, paddleboard, kayak, hike, bird-watch, fish, and search for seashells. Anglers will find designated areas in the northern part of the park for fishing, while boaters can easily access the launch area into Turkey Bay for a scenic experience on the Cocohatchee River leading to the Gulf of Mexico.
