Dr. Wilson is a fellowship trained, non-operative sports medicine physician who specializes in non-surgical treatments for a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Her clinical interests include injury prevention and youth athletics, with a focus on volleyball and gymnastics. She is skilled in using musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnosis and injection therapies such as corticosteroid, hyaluronic acid, and platelet-rich plasma. Dr. Wilson earned her medical degree from Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and completed a residency in Family Medicine with a concentration in Sports Medicine at Halifax Family Medicine in Daytona Beach, FL. She then completed a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. Dr. Wilson has experience serving as a team physician for various sports teams and events, including the East Carolina University and a Texas Rangers minor league baseball team.
