Ole Tampa Cubans

"So let me start by saying the deviled crab was perfect. But that’s not what I went for I went for a Cuban. The Cuban was so weak! I got barely any roast pork and the salami was cut so thick I pulled out the entire piece every time I tried to take a bite."

"Really good Cuban. The place is a little dirty. Needs a good cleaning. It's attached to an Exxon station. There is trash everywhere outside it's so ugly. There's even an old ice cream freezer full of mosquitoes and water. I have to wonder how clean the kitchen is? Try the Cuban, the midnight or for something different the pizza empanada is really good."

"Went in recently to grab a bite to eat. Employee working behind the counter was completely ignoring a line of customers waiting to order with her back to the counter without so much as an acknowledgement despite having multiple people working in the kitchen. A few patrons had been waiting over 30 minutes for their food and received nothing but rude and unprofessional responses upon inquiry. After being ignored for 10+ minutes, I left without ordering as did the 4 people waiting behind me. This person easily lost you at least 100$ in sales over a matter of minutes. I have no interest in spending money at this establishment if this is how people are treated here. Normas is less than a mile away. Food is great though, if you can get your hands on some."

"The Cuban sandwich is made with all the correct ingredients, and the Spanish bean soup is wonderful! This sandwich has a lot of meat, specifically ham. I'd have given 5 stars if there had been more pork, salami, and/or cheese. It was still delicious and I will very likely be back."

"Basic eatery with no frills. Order at the counter and take a seat. Your food will be brought out to you. While I waited for my found a couple of older ladies who ordered their meal was still waiting when I got mine. They didn't order anything elaborate from what I remembered but they had waited long enough that the manager came out to apologize for taking so long. I got a Cuban sandwich and a crab roll. I had to specify that I didn't want lettuce and tomato. Those of you that know, know that those two things don't go on a genuine Cuban. I also had to ask that it be pressed. Overall the sandwich was large and filled with lots of meat. The crab roll was a bit on the small side but good nonetheless. I wish they served a different hot sauce with it, either Crystal or Cholula. It's a place that does serve up good food and their take on local favorites isn't going to deter me from going back."
