Ladybird Academy of Windermere

"My son was in the toddler program for ages 12 months to 24 months. We had a horrible experience. After a few weeks, we decided that we would no longer send our son here and enrolled him into Goddard. A few red flags: (1) my child had 2 diaper rashes in a one month span (he never has had rashes before - my husband is a dermatologist and we take this seriously). His old school where he was at from 12 months to 21 months this NEVER occurred. (2) my son was bitten by another child (I do appreciate that this was immediately disclosed to us). (3) the class sizes are too big for the number of employees actually watching the kids (during pick up I noticed a toddler pushing another toddler and then later that same toddler grabbed a toy from the same toddler). No one did anything until the crying started. I know this is normal for the age group, but it seemed like more eyes could be watching in light of one person handling diaper changes and the other ladies primary job being watching the children. I was so shaken by the one toddler picking on the boy that I reported it to the front desk. (4) the women working are just trying to survive the chaos. When I enrolled my son they gave me a sheet of what their day looked like, but in reality when I would come by rarely did the day ever reflect what the sheet looked like. My son was picked up earlier on most days so I was able to grasp what was actually happening at different times of the afternoon. I want to say that Ms. Pat is awesome, and this review is not a reflection of my thoughts on the care she personally provided. Although I wasn't able to see the full extent of it, I believe she does her best to work with the children and I have seen it in real life. She used cheerios to get one of the girls to say words (so cute) & she is an asset to the whole daycare. I just think the program could be better and more enriching for the kids and I wish I had the same feeling for the other care providers."

"Switching to Lady Bird Academy Windermere has been the best decision for our entire family. Since day one, after experiencing a lot of rudeness at dr Philips and being told at 8 months pregnant that I was an absent parent, Jessica, Dominique and Jamie have made us feel like we are their family not just another kid to count as a head in their school. They are so personable, kind, loving and go way above and beyond for each family and child. Hands down best experience for my 6 year old, 2 year old and 4 month old!"

"Ladybird Academy of Windermere is by far the best childcare in the area. Both my sons (ages 5 and 2) have been attending since they were infants. The teachers and staff have made us feel like family since the beginning. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my kids."

"I have had all three of my kids enrolled at Ladybird Windermere the youngest is completing her last year there (Vpk). The school, curriculum, and the staff are phenomenal! They treat you like family and they love and care for the children as if they were there own. If you are looking for a place that wants nothing but the best your little one(s) then Ladybird Academy is the place for you!"

"This daycare is the best in the area! We did so many tours before we chose Ladybird in Windermere and this was hands down the best choice! Everyone from the teachers, front desk, and the director are amazing people, kind hearted, and they really care for every child. We also loved the cleanliness of the facility, especially with our toddler who was potty training when he started. Now he is a pro in the bathroom and great with washing his hands. Can’t stress how wonderful this facility is! Thank you Ladybird!"
