"My son has been at Starchild Windermere since he was 2, we had some challenges in the beginning but Ms. lourdes was so understanding & helpful & made a busy/worried parent feel at ease; Ms. Ingrid Pre K3 & Ms. Belkis Pre K4 are phenomenal teachers, we are so thankful for them & they are real assets to the school. I will be sad when the time comes for Dylan to leave for big school :("

"This used to be an amazing facility back in 2016-2020. However, now there are only a handful of GREAT teachers, a handful of dependable teachers, and a ton of bare minimum teachers. This school used to offer so much more than they do now. However their rates don’t reflect that. There is very little family activities at the school. Very little engagement for the administrators to foster a positive learning environment. If I were to have another child today this wouldn’t even be considered. There are better schools with higher quality teachers and educators in the area."

"So grateful for Mrs. Lourdes and all the staff. My daughter and son have had nothing but positive experiences for almost two years. They have learned so much. Front desk are always so happy and friendly and willing to help. I would recommend this school to everyone."

"Absolutely LOVE StarChild Academy- Windermere! My son has attended the Before/After School and Summer Camp programs for the past 3 years, since they opened. I only have wonderful things to say about them! The entire staff is friendly, attentive, caring and professional. Mr. O'Neil, Nicole, Arpana, Taylor, Lourdes, Bea, Michael and team truly take great care of the kids and treat my son with such kindness. He loves everyone there and looks forward to going, which makes me feel very fortunate. The facility is clean and very organized. They do fun things throughout the year and have great field trips & activities for school breaks and summer camp that my son is always so excited about. So grateful we found them and cannot thank them enough for all they do."

"When I first started working at StarChild in Windermere I thought it was a great school, I have 7 years of extensive teaching experience under my belt, I was 10 weeks pregnant at the time and new to Florida. As time went on, I was getting harassed by a few other teachers and the women at the front desk preferred to gossip all day rather than help with teachers' needs. As i approached my due date, the directors decided it was a good idea to leave me alone in random classrooms for hours with 15-20 kids.... this proved a challenge and I expressed my concern, which did nothing. I ended up leaving a few weeks before giving birth because I just couldn't handle being alone with so many kids and no help being that far along. I was asked to come back in January of 2018, my daughter was 7 weeks old. So I did. The directors constantly held it over my head that I left and used it as leverage to get what they wanted. Eventually There was an incident with my daughter that resulted in her being rushed to the hospital. I will never put my kids back in a star child."
