"This is an older building but the room appeared to be recently updated. Everything worked & had no issues. This is a two-person room. We appreciated the privacy this room gave us and the direct access to the beach was very nice. Beach chairs could use replacement. Check-in/out was easy & staff was friendly. We would definitely stay here again if traveling to AMI and request the same location & room."

"We decided to drive a couple hours away & head to the beach for the day & night if we could find a spot just to get a way & celebrate my husband’s 50th. We came across a few spots available online & decided to book our stay. Our original booking was the driftwood. Once we finally found the spot we were confused as to how to get in. Without a long story, figuring out check in was very confusing. It needs to be noted in the check-in email that you need to drive to the address of main office & then drive to the location. Once we did that, the 2 girls were SO helpful. Loved them. They helped me pick a better location for our stay which was the Tropic Isle. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!!! I give everything a five but the four I give overall just because of how aggravating it started out."

"What a great place and location! The pool and hot tub were clean and warm. Access to the beach was right down the street. We rented bikes two blocks down the main road, loved it. Nicole V. was very helpful. Thank you"

"We stayed at the Captain’s Quarters for 5 nights in December. It was a great location, easy walk across the street to the beach. The space was clean and great for the 2 of us. Bed was comfy, kitchen well stocked. The hot tub/heated pool was a nice feature, it is shared with the others in the building but there are only 4 (I think) other rooms there and only 1or 2 were booked the entire time we were there. The staff is very responsive to any requests we made. Would definitely stay again !!!"

"This place is a dream. My husband and I went there for our anniversary. We stayed at one of the beachfront rooms. The location of the room is amazing, you just have to open the back door to be at the most beautiful beach. It came with everything that you need to be very comfortable. The housekeeping service is excellent, everything was super clean and neat. The bed and pillows were so comfy. The staff is very nice. We will definitely come back."
