Bungalow Beach Resort

"My husband and I spent an amazing 10 days at this gem of a resort on Anna Maria Island! The heated pool was right outside our room and the beach a little stroll down a sandy path. We'd often sit on the lounge chairs reading or just gazing at the ocean. The staff and office workers are simply awesome! Jackie and Jason are most kind and thoughtful. One of the best things about this place is you don't need to rent a car! The Monkey Bus or Trolley, for a small fee, will take you wherever you want to go! Also a great gentleman, Mr. Bob, will pick you up from the airport and return you when you're leaving. The best restaurants are near by serving fresh and delicious food! We also enjoyed meeting so many great people! We look forward to staying at this wonderful resort on our return visit to AMI !"

"Our second time staying at The Bungalow Beach Resort and they've been amazing trips. The right-on-the-beach location is fantastic, the cottages are quiet, clean, and comfortable! Communication with the hosts is great and it's a very smooth process. Love the area...we'll be back!"

"There were so many positive things about this charming Beach Cottage Resort. The view, the staff, the other quests that are so friendly, and of course being able to walk out your porch onto the white sandy beach. The sunsets were amazing. All that to say, but do not expect modern conveniences. There is not dishwasher if you are expecting one and the AC’s are window units. The bathtub needs a grip bar, but Jason said he was planning on putting one in. The best is sitting on the porch with your morning coffee or evening wine allows you to hear the waves, smell the fresh salt water, wave at passer byes, and watch the sunset. We were content to stay put and avoid the traffic on the main road, but there are tons of options for eating out. A MUST is Star Fish for great seafood. Worth the wait, but don’t be afraid to get some fresh seafood from their great selection. One of a kind old school Florida that is a Great place for sure!"

"We've stayed at Bungalow Beach Resort three times in the past three years (2021-2023). Our sons participate in a December soccer tournament nearby and I've always insisted we stay there after our first trip. I love the intimacy of the place - the bungalows are really cozy, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The beachfront location is amazing and early morning / evening walks with the family are breathtaking. This place is truly a treasure and I can't wait to go back."

"This is a little piece of paradise! So quaint & cute. Loved having our own little place & walking right out onto the the beach from our own deck. The views of the sunset from our room were spectacular. The staff could not be more accommodating! They are prompt with all requests/questions, etc. They have everything you need if you fly…beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. The units are small & older but impeccably clean. Near great restaurants & grocery stores. Just cannot say enough about how great this place is, especially for couples. Kudos to owners & staff!"
