"Great atmosphere! I went here for mimosas with friends. The smoked wings tasted delicious. The brunch menu isn’t very big, but it’s brunch so can’t expect too much. This is more of a hangout spot for adults as it doesn’t have a kids menu. Parking is limited and it gets packed very fast so get there a little early. The service was great and there was live music."

"Me and my friend had to try this place out for my birthday last month. We both got beer flights, a cup of lobster bisque, the truffle tots, and my friend got the lobster grilled cheese. Let me first start off by saying the server we had that night, January 29th, was amazing. She was knowledgable and even gave us a few samples so we could decide on our flights. The ciders they offer are super good! I never knew I would be a cider person. The service was fast and attentive. They really cared about our experience. On the other hand, I loved the food but thought the lobster in the grilled cheese was overcooked. It was dry and almost tasted like chicken. Personally, I didn't order it, I wouldn't have as somebody who enjoys seafood by itself, not in between bread. I'm definitely going to come back and try one of their entrees or specials. The menu is quite large so I might suggest asking the server what the most popular food item is. Thank you Flying Boat for being so hospitable! I'll be back for more beer and apps!"

"This was a fun surprise find while in the Ocala area. Great decor and atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful with the food and drinks choices. Great selection of Florida breweries (IPA, porter, ales, spicy and cider) and perfect mimosas. They are famous for their pizza and appetizers so got some of everything. The banging shrimp were to die for, truffle tater tots were cooked perfectly. The pizza was so good and they used a fire oven. There was live entertainment when we went, on a Sunday at around noon. He was playing the steel drums and was really good. Lots of seating in and outdoors. We really enjoyed this place. Will be back for sure. PS their shirts are really cool to."

"We enjoyed a yummy meal at the Flying Boat Tap Room just outside Ocala FL for Pizza Friday. It was fun sitting at the bar and watching the kitchen work like a well-oiled machine. Great selection of Florida beers. They make wood fired pizza, so we had to try it. We had the smokin babe with the BBQ sauce on the side. It was delicious-thin crust, and the brisket was so good. The "smothered crunchies" also looked good so we ordered those from the tapas menu-perfect appetizer. A great stop if you're ever there."

"Excellent and attentive staff! The food was a bit on the expensive side, but so worth it! Clearly everything is made fresh, on site, and such good flavors. The drinks were awesome too, as well as the overall atmosphere of the place. Would definitely come here again!"
