"My three visits to the Excel pain clinic were excellent… both nurse practitioners were extremely competent and took the time to answer all my questions in a way that I could understand…. My injection was carried out and explained by Dr. S. As each part of the procedure was done. Front office staff are friendly and efficient."
"New patient visit- In network insurance/ i paid my dues owed for that visit in order to be able to have a consultation with only a nurse. Who then provided information and also noted my information with regarding to my concerns after completing lengthy paperwork. Waited one hour the appointment took no more than 20 minutes in the room. After our 20 minute consultation, I was told that someone would reach out to me after they called my insurance to gain MRI authorization approval and i left. It’s been over one week no one called me until i reached out to them to only be told someone would reach out to me… 2 days go by no one calls. I then again reach back out, a gentleman then looks into the details. I’m not sure of what actually, tells me that they found out no authorization is required from my insurance but yet no one called to tell me that… so my second concern and question was what facility do I go to now that we’ve concluded I don’t need an authorization and he then presumes to tell me I have to find my own MRI facility, which was conflicting information based on what I was told at my initial visit. Moral of the story is I paid cash for a visit and got zero help and still left in pain. Just stuck…"
"Dr Shah is the absolute best. I spent a long time finding a doctor that would perform the type of nerve ablation I needed for intercostal neuralgia and was so blessed to find him. The staff is nice as well. Even though I have to drive two hours to get to his office, it is worth it to get relief from my pain. Highly recommend and this is from someone that doesn’t normally write reviews!!"
"This practice is amazing for patients who need to manage pain management. Sometimes is very busy and Jennifer(NP)takes care of everybody in the front and back. Dr. Tzsrus is a unique doctor with excellent experience and prior practice in NYC. I recommend this practice without hesitation ."
