"I had my pool resurfaced and thought it was an excellent job for the price. The company did the pool, drain, skimmer, jets and patched and repainted the deck. The crew was quite meticulous and the boss responsive. I have had a bit of a problem getting warranty info on the surfacing material, but not sure that will matter in the long run. I noticed the water level decreasing more than it should have. The owner of the company came out and did dye testing and couldn't find anything leaking. I did a bucket test and over two days the pool lost 3.5 times what the bucket did. I called American Leak, based on the reviews it has. I was scheduled and MJ came out, donned his dry suit, jumped in, did all the testing with dye and pressure equipment and found a small leak around a collar that was capped, that must have been a vacuum opening at one point. He said it's not unusual to have a leak at that spot as it's hard to trowel the pebbletec like material around it, since it was close to the long "bench" in the deep end. MJ put a measuring sticker on the tile and in 2 days, I've only lost about 4 mm of water. I'm pretty sure it's fixed. MJ was actually impressed with the pool resurfacing and said I got a great deal with an awesome outcome, and that leaks like this just happen. "Pool technician said there was a leak in my pool. Called American Leak Detection and shared tech's concerns. We have used this company for years. There's a small crack between the spa and the pool, that requires patching every few years. It's a poor design from a pool company no longer in business. American Leak Detection has been servicing the issue every few years. This time however I am in a bit of a time sensitive situation as I am leaving town in a few days. They scheduled me an appointment for Monday, yet had a cancelation today and fit me in. Pool is fixed, family is happy and I am packing for my getaway. I would and will highly recommend this company and their knowledgeable professional staff."
