“I saw the post about restaurant opening in Facebook and eversince I was waiting for the restaurant to open. I have been here few times now and it is weekly ritual now to go and explore the different street food options. Owner and staff are so welcoming. Food is amazing. I love that there is so many street food and vegetarian options I have to choose from which I always struggle to get in other restaurants.i would definitely recommend. Thank you.”

“Woof is the spot!! Just an awesome space, people and atmosphere. Central Dunedin with street chairs/tables/blankets if you want the outdoors, indoor booths and open plan sitting if a "diner" vibe isn't what you're after. Bar staff with the most enthusiastic, courteous energy with high attention to detail. Woof is amazing put simply. Old fashioned's they serve rock.”

“Dropped by "Al-bah" on Christmas Eve as part of cruise ship day stop in Dunedin and had a great pot Dunedin style mussels and the 5 beer tasting tray. Nice atmosphere, good food and beers on tap and the most happening spot on the street!!”

“Came in for breakfast with my girlfriend and wow, was blown away. The smoothies were top-notch, breakfast burger was out of this world, and even the classic bacon and eggs was some of the best, if not the best I've ever had (Super crispy bacon, flavoursome eggs). Stop by and try it for yourself!!”

“Should be called Great-Great because the burgers were easily the best I had in Dunedin during the World Cup. Flavor was spectacular, the sauces they had were really good. And the vibe in the restaurant is very unique which was really cool. If you’re in town it is 1000% worth the stop!”

“Brilliant stay. We stayed for 2 nights. Location great, walked to the beach. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The 2 bedroom unit was clean, tidy, the owners took time to sweep the balconies and clean the yard of rubbish. There was evidence of attention to little detail had lots of little things, like lots of electric plug outlets and suitcase stands, in each room. We would stay here again.”

“First time here, got a caramel popcorn for side when order long black, which i find very interesting. Coffee is descent if you are into coffee (unless you really like dark roast coffee) We ordered panacotta and chilli cheese egg. If you love a lil bit of spicy food, i totally recommend the chili cheese egg. They scrambled your egg with a bit of gochujang (korean red spicy paste) and it mixed soooo welll!!”

“Loved going here! Even though it was very busy when we arrived they quickly found us a table (party of 4) which was very comfortable. Service was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere is relaxed and cosy despite the decent size, and I would'nt say it's too cramped. I ordered gluten free seafood chowder which was delicious and creamy, and came with actually nice gluten free bread! What a treat. Nice big portion size and very affordable at only $18 if I remember correctly. Will definitely be going again!”

“A lovely spot for a quiet catch-up or a large group. There’s downstairs seating as well, with option of outdoor/garden tables. One of the best savoury scones I’ve had! Will be back here when in Dunedin again.”
