I had a small issue with my room and mentioned it to reception and they went above and beyond and voluntarily swapped me to an even nicer room so that they could address the issue. “The multi colored ferris wheel, the Aussie themed mini golf, the pizza and cocktail bar and the famous food court on the wharf in Darwin Harbour. Sensational views of the city and surrounds, buzzing with people and boats. Get down there for a fun evening.”

“Mate this joint will not disappoint. The room isn't massive. But beds are nice the aircon is quiet and cold and cleaners do an exceptional job. Foxtel with all the trimmings including being able to record stuff while you're working. Kitchen is well appointed the pool is great lawns are lush. Make sure you get a room at the other end to the aircon outside unit (condenser) they tend to vibrate the walls. The management is very accommodating.”

“TL;DR - Great staff. Made it fast and easy. I experienced really good customer service here today. I grabbed what I needed, went to the self-service, and the sales attendant helped me scan everything which made it go a lot faster. She then radioed to the lady at the front so she expected me and didn't need to check my receipt and trolley (needed the trolley for the bookshelves). I was in and out in 10 minutes.”

“Wife and I decided to drive out to Crab Claw Island today for a day trip, and grab a drink and lunch at the restaurant. It was lovely, and much better than I was expecting! Road in is a little bumpy, but I left the 4x4 at home and got out there no worries in the run around car. The staff were friendly, and while I was expecting to pay more due to being an hour out of Darwin, the food was very fairly priced. The restaurant is elevated and looking over the water. It was a beautiful day, and the sea breeze was just gorgeous. While enjoying this relaxing atmosphere, our food was brought out and I must say, it was superbly cooked! Whenever I order squid, I always steel myself encase it be overdone, but this was the hands down the most perfectly cooked plate I've had in my 30+ years in the territory. Well worth the hours drive to head out there for lunch! Thanks for the great afternoon.”

“Awesome place and huge space. Good for kids as they have many toys for the kids to choose from. My son get to scan his toys and put in the trolley. The staff are nice and let him do it. They keep encouraging him. Because of Big W my son is able to handle the self service register and make the payments. Thanks guys for letting the kids learn the life skills.”

“I mainly shop at Woolies, but Coles has a lot goods Woolies doesn't stock, it's worth a shop if you want something different for dinner snacks and fruit. Price wise pretty good,”

“I came into see if I could find some rare dash globes and buy some tools. I had such a good experience I just had to jump online and write this review. The girls not only found everything I was searching for they directed me to find the best deals. I even left by having a few good laughs. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! “Excellent stay here at the Zen. The room had everything we needed to make our own food. The rooftop bar is a real treat with views over the ocean. Close to town and clean, this accomodation was perfect. The pool was lovely- so nice to lie out on deck chairs in the sun. The night porter was super friendly and welcomed us when we arrived in the middle of the night.”
